Many people are going through life not thinking about their future. The future AFTER death.

I know because I was one of them. Who likes to think about death anyways?

A Christian. The person who knows that after death there awaits for us something SO amazing that is beyond our imagination.

” But as it is written. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9

I don’t know about you, but to me Heaven is the greatest goal and is worth more than anything I could have on this Earth.

How do I know I’m going to heaven?

First, the Bible says that everyone is a sinner.

” For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

Our sins separate us from God. Before a person can know that he has eternal life and that he will go to heaven, he must first know and believe that he is a sinner.

Second, the Bible says that sin must be paid for.

” For the wages of sin is death…” – Romans 6:23

Every person that has ever sinned owes a payment to God, and that payment is death. If we continue in our sin, we shall die without Christ and be separated from God forever.

Third, the Bible says that Christ dies for our sins.

” But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

The best news that anyone could ever tell you is that Jesus Christ died for your sins. All our sines were laid on Him. He died and was buried, and He rose from the dead on the third day.

” For He hath made Him to be sin for us…” – II Corinthians 5:21

He paid our sin debt so that we would not have to dies and go to a place called hell.

Fourth, the Bible says we must personally pray and receive Christ as our Saviour.

” For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Romans 10:13

A persona can believe that God loves him. He can believe that he is a sinner and that sin must be paid for; but if he is not willing to receive the Lord Jesus as his Savior, he will die and spend eternity separated from God.

If you would be willing to turn to Christ in repentance and faith, pray this simple prayer and receive the gift of God that He wants to give you.

“Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If I died today, I would go to hell. Forgive me, come into my heart and save, and help me to live for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

“…The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Everlasting life begins when we receive Christ as our Savior. I want you to know that heaven with Jesus is the greatest ‘goal’ you could ever achieve! God wants to give you everlasting life and a home in heaven.

” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
